Happy 3rd Birthday Amelia

Amelia celebrated her 3rd birthday at Festive Party with friends from school and the neighborhood. It was a great time for bouncing and celebrating 3 years!

Olivia has been playing great this year in her adaptive soccer league. In fact, this weekend, she scored a goal! Wouldn't you know, both Mom and Dad missed the big moment as we were running a 1/2 marathon. Hopefully, we'll see her score again this weekend. GOOO LIVVY!

Shiny new truck has a big 'ol dent

Nobody saw or heard anything, but our brand new 2010 Suburban was victimized in a parking lot a few days ago. It will be off to the body shop soon to get the bumper repaired. Be on the lookout for a blue car with white paint on its bumper...the culprit is out there somewhere!

Reach the Beach 2009

Mom ran the Reach the Beach relay this weekend. 207 miles over some 30 hours. Cannon Mountain to Hampton Beach. Now that's alot of running!

Back to School

It was back to school this week for Cameron (2nd grade) and Olivia (Kindergarten). After a fairly free-wheeling summer, it's back to some structure: early bedtimes, alarm clocks, breakfast, bus stop, school, homework, playtime, supper, bed. Seems like a lot to fit in a day, but so far, so good!

In a week's time, Sophia and Olivia will be back to school as well which makes 2009 the first year that all the Macdonald kids are in school. File this under milestones!

Nothing Like a Day at the Beach!

What a great day we had today at Wallis Sands Beach in Rye, NH. Everyone, including Mom and Dad had a blast. No strollers, no baby tents, no nursing, no diapers....this was a first for us in many respects, and without question, the weather and the kids behaved wonderfully!

Summer 2009 Flying By

Wow, Summer is flying by. The rainy June and July haven't helped with the feeling that summer has just about skipped over us this year. We've squeezed in a few fun things - a day at the beach and a weekend up north visiting Storyland and Attitash. Two more weeks to go before school starts!
