Back to School

It was back to school this week for Cameron (2nd grade) and Olivia (Kindergarten). After a fairly free-wheeling summer, it's back to some structure: early bedtimes, alarm clocks, breakfast, bus stop, school, homework, playtime, supper, bed. Seems like a lot to fit in a day, but so far, so good!

In a week's time, Sophia and Olivia will be back to school as well which makes 2009 the first year that all the Macdonald kids are in school. File this under milestones!

Nothing Like a Day at the Beach!

What a great day we had today at Wallis Sands Beach in Rye, NH. Everyone, including Mom and Dad had a blast. No strollers, no baby tents, no nursing, no diapers....this was a first for us in many respects, and without question, the weather and the kids behaved wonderfully!

Summer 2009 Flying By

Wow, Summer is flying by. The rainy June and July haven't helped with the feeling that summer has just about skipped over us this year. We've squeezed in a few fun things - a day at the beach and a weekend up north visiting Storyland and Attitash. Two more weeks to go before school starts!
