A Rhody's Reprieve
The rhododendren in front of our house was within a day of the executioner's blade. It had never bloomed during the five years we've lived here, so plans were in place to replace it with something more colorful. Alas, this morning, as the chain saw warmed up, I discovered this. Rhoddy's death sentence has been commuted, at least for another year.

Cub Scout Rocket Launch
Cameron (and Dad) went to their first ever rocket launch at a park in Bedford last weekend. Pictures below show Cameron pushing the launch button and then the result, about 700 feet in the air, with the rocket's parachute just deploying. Very cool! That is, until the wind blew Cam's rocket into the woods.

Dora the Explorer!
Nana, Dad, Sophia and Amelia took a trip into the Boston Opera House to see Dora Live! We all had a great time, although the picture below at Nana's house would seem to indicate otherwise.
